But since we live in america we have more choices then to just "deal with it" Sport Z could be sued for breeching their contract to us, becouse we paid for their service and they stopped prividing.
If the company no longer exists, who are you going to sue? And are you really going to sue over $30?

Friends,

I'm positively astonished about the echo this issue has. I've always been glad that there was a magazine on Z cars and I can understand the problems a magazine has in such a small market. I'm also shure there were much more readers than buyers, that's usual and okay but not that good for the magazinemakers. I press my thumbs for a successful new start and I'm shure that the Zs will take a big part 'cause the Z enthusiast are the core subscribers. What's about official NISSAN (US and international)? The new magazine should have their support, too. Here in Germany NISSAN has no interests in elder Nissans or Datsuns (most Nissan officials do not even know Datsun and the Nissan history), so I'm personally not interested in Nissan, but I will support the new magazine when and here wanted. This Z-voice must survive, as classiczcars.com, too

Rolf.

HUH ??????????????

Is, ..... Ummmm, ... WAS there a mag called Sport Z ?????

Must have been solely for the U.S. market, I've never seen it on our news stands. Unfortunately. (Unless my eyesight is worse than I thought).

Rick.

RAZ1 -

I never got a positive confirmation you wouldn't use the picture. Let me know how the vote goes first, and if they say no, I'll try to get another pic to you.

IMHO - just my opinion - you should be fine with the pic I submitted. The whole goal I had in mind was to simulate something you might see in "Lowrider Magazine". It's racy, but no more revealing than a girl in a bathing suit. I realize that might not be the clientele you want to reach, but I do believe there is demographic overlap.

I respect whatever decision your team comes up with. Please PM privately with positive confirmation one way or the other, I work a full time job as well as run a side business, so it's harder for me to scroll the threads.

rdefabri, We stopped processing orders a month ago and did not charge anyone for the Summer 2006 issue. We couldn't charge a cc for something that doesn't exist. You can order the Fall issue of Nissan Sport when it becomes a back issue. I can already tell you that the editor for vote yes and it doesn't matter to me if it runs. All it will take is one more vote of yes and it will be in.

Mike, we are still running the "Best Pose" story in the Fall issue of Nissan Sport. Look at it as starting off with a bang.

1 Bravo 6, we are not in the newstands overseas but the largest number of overseas SZM subscribers come from Australia. Japan is second.

To those at Sports Z Magazine who put so much into establishing something I thought was valuable, motivating, and collectable, thankyou for your past efforts and commitment and sincere best wishes for the future. I value the collection of back issues I currently own and look forward to seeing what comes out in the new format.

I am certain that the new collective of owners are as committed as the previous owners. This situation reminds me of a somewhat similar situation that I think confronted the legendary? Yvon Chouinard of Utah based Chouinard Equipment who specialised in climbing and mountaineering equipment - the workers formed a cooperative now called Black Diamond and have become quite prominent in their field. I hope that the new cooperative receives the industry and community support it needs to continue to a new strength.

The contributions of Sports Z Magazine to the Z community is something that all should value.

The one thing that sticks in my mind from previous postings is that the Magazine would be more likely to still be running if more in the Zed community had subscribed. The current situation should not be looked upon as a failure, but rather an excellent foundation to be developed by the next generation of owners.

I promise that I will my next subscription when it next falls due and urge others to consider doing the same.

NissanSport, thanks for allowing us to continue the subscriptions we started with SportZ. SportZ Thanks for sending me some great issues!

From the sound of what has been said earlier in this thread by those in NissanSport, We could easliy add to S30 content by contibuting ideas for articles, articles themselves, raw information/pictures, notices of up-comming events, reporting on current events, or even the odd hint of where to look for the dirt on the new models...We know Art will work hard to publish what will generate interest-(Photos anyway!)or controversy, and we know he has a 240z project already started and probably close to paid for!

WIll

For the guys that know me, I'm not going away anytime soon. So if you thought this was the best chance to get rid of me, you are sadly mistaken. LOL. On a serious note, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM or email me.
