Greg Ira's EP 240Z at Roebling

Recommended Posts

So where does Greg race out of? isn't that car the one Eddie radatz built/helped build a couple of years ago? I could swear I've seen that car at his garage before.
Yes. Grayson Upchurch's old Z. Greg & Guy Marvin own it now and Greg drove it to the SE Division Championship last year. He is battling for it again this year. The real goal is the Runoffs however. Car is based in Florida now although Sam Neave's shop in N.C. does alot of the mechanical work as well. This group also won the SE Division ECR Championship in Guy's ITS 240Z. The light blue #33 car I have pics of.

Sorry to threadjack a little, but who is Sam Neaves, where is he located and what kind of work does he do?

Thanks,

Steve

THANKS, JMARK!

I've been looking for someone local to help with my engine rebuild, and it looks like this guy could be a step in the right direction...even if he's not willing to do street-level work, he may know someone....

Again thanks!

Steve

No problem Steve. Sam's problem is he is in demand. I sure he can point you in the right direction if he can't do it. He does Greg & Guy's ITS & EP 240Z motors. Another good source in this area is member David Spillman aka "dspillman". He lives in Rutherfordton NC and races his ITS 240Z. He has several street Z cars as well. I know he does some of his own engine work.

Hey Mark,

Sam also works on a Bill Jones's 240SX , and Al Gast's Datsun Roadster that Grayson is now driving. I have spoke with him on the phone and he is a real down to earth guy. He has helped Greg sort out the the 240Z. Greg has been

doing pretty well in his car this season. Along with Don Ahrens out of Florida, and his 240Z.

Did you get any photos of Al's, and Randy's Roadster from this last weeekend?

Randy's car caught on fire after it was hit.

Thanks,

Mike
