sugarworker Posted July 6, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2006 Just found this website. Recently got my father-in-laws 1974 260z that he bought new. It has 43000 miles on it but hadn't been driven in the last 4-5 years. I plan to use website to get it in tip top shape. 240ZX Posted July 6, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 6, 2006 Gary, Welcome to the site. Some information that will be helpful to you......become familiar with the archive search function, as there is sooooo much information there. Basically, just about every question that has ever been asked about these sweet old Zs is documented within. Also, alot of folks who have the 260Z replace the flat top carbs with the round top carbs (70, 71, 72, and early 73). The round tops are a bolt on deal and perform much better than the flat top carbs. One last item.....update your personal profile so members know where you are located. Enjoy,Tom (240ZX) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/20687-new-z-owner/#findComment-173688 Share on other sites
