Currently, yes. But their obsolete numbers (as I recall them from 15-20 years ago) used to be in that format.

Plus, there have really only been two major shock manufacturers who actually built shocks here in the USA - Gabriel and Monroe. And much of Monroe's strut insert line was built in Belgium (by Sachs/Boge I believe). Gabriel did built inserts here, the black color is correct for Gabriel, and the number looks like an old Gabriel number. Not conclusive, but close enough that I'd bet that way if I had to bet.

Heres a long shot, but does anyone know who made these Rear Strut Cartridges?

They are from a 240z, painted black, and the only markings they have are a part number: 734603 and "Made in USA".

They are from Sears, they call them Roadhander. I bought the first

set of them in 1999 and they do say made in USA. I exchanged them

earlier this year and the new ones had the same part number but

these are made in Venezuela. The fronts are part number: 734602
