Hows it going everyone? Brand new here. Dont have a Z yet but plan on getting one from the junk yard as a shell and completly redo everything. My father used to own a old 240z but sold it about 15 years ago to help pay for the family and get a more practicle car(van). I hope to finish it within a year or two and surprise him with it as a present (mebe we will share the car :lick: ). Anyways I own a 2005 Mitsubishi Evo but have always loved all the Z's and especially old school datsuns.

definitely. unless you want the joy of rebuilding a classic sports car, buying one that has already been restored will save you countless hours, blood, sweat and money!

but i have to admit, i doubt i would go that route.... rebuilding FTW!

I am not too worried with the cost of the project. If I run out of funds then the project will just be extended a year or two more. I plan on this vehicle being in the family for years to come and would rather rebuild it myself knowing it was done right.
