HI Guys,

I have a early dash with extra switch that looks to be same make/manufacturer....Was anything resembling this found on the datsun roadster?

I'd love to get some ideas, as to origin. Maybe a dealer installed fog light switch? Just a previous owner add on?

Take a look, let me know

It looks as though someone took a toggle switch from the 67.5 older Roadsters and put it in there. The shape, style is the same. I say that because the size and shape of the paddle isn't identical to the actual Hazard

Switch visible below it.

Does it have any engraving / embossing to denote what it is?

That IS the location for the Fog Lamp switch in the early Series I cars, as later the Cigar Lighter was placed there.

Looking in the parts books(ours and everybody elses) there seem to be two "factory fog light switches, one with embossing to match the hazzard switch, and one that was simply a black lever with a sharp bend in it, 3/4 to the end-no scanner yet, but when I get one, I'll post the picks and drawings I have.

PS any chance of a better pic of the situation?
