I am heading out next week on a work-related trip to Melbourne, Australia.

I am sending this to the main news page because I am hoping that some of our members from Australia will see it.

If you are from Australia (near Melb) and would like to get together, please either reply to this message or send me a private message (do this in your control panel (User CP from the main icon menu links on the top bar)).

And, if there is ANY chance that I could get together for a rally event, general racing, or Zcar event... I would be extremely psyched!

Personally, I'd go the Queensland this time of year if I had the choice!

How long is the drive from Melbourne to Sydney? I calculated it at approximately 500 miles (on a map with a toothpick as my mileage counter). My calculations are probably wrong, but, it looks like a pretty healthy drive. Ie: One day on the road, and another day coming back.

Geoff, is the Z club web site running?

I really envy you as you have a club dedicated to Zed's and rally as well!

As Zedrally indicated it is a day trip either way, about 9-10 hours, with stops.

Zedrally, the Sydney Z Car club site will be operational again soon. It is still there at www.zcarclub.com.au, but is in need of an update which will occur in the near future hopefully.

Is there anyone reading this list that's a member of the NDSOC?

Mike's only here for a few weeks and I know the club did meet the first Wednesday of the month, however their website appears to be down so I'm unable to confirm this.

C'mon, someone help us out here.
