Rolf,

Whenever I see Goertz linked to the S30-series Z ( why does everyone talk about JUST one model of that series? ) I will squawk.

Poor old Matsuo and his team deserve to have someone at least trying to set the story straight. I realise its an impossible task, but I don't care.

Well Alan you could always write that book everyone keeps asking you to write.

I'd believe that it wasn't goertz who designed the Z basically because the information on it was so inconclusive everywhere on the net there's mentions of different people who desgined this car.

Good luck telling everyone but, as you say people just wanna put a name to the car I spose.

Thanks for the encouragement, but;

No one would publish it ( unless I paid for it myself - "vanity publishing" style ).

No one would buy it ( not interested - 'nuff said ).

Goertz would sue me ( bet he can afford better lawyers than me ).

Nissan would probably not want to get involved ( typical ).

Matsuo would get even more embarrassed ( poor bloke ).

All the non-Japanese "Z experts" would either sit on the fence and wait to see what happened, or support Goertz because they read in a book somewhere that Goertz designed the car..........

See what I / anybody would be up against?

Nah, Nissan should do it and do it hard. They have the balls to credit Matsuo in Japanese press / media, but they won't pass the story on to their foreign PR depts. This makes it look even worse for them, as everybody outside Japan just thinks it looks like they are accepting what Goertz says!...........

Nissan have been total dumwits about the whole thing from the word go. They should have come down hard on Goertz's claims when he actually first made them. Almost too late now.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for the definitive S30-series Z book - and I reckon it ought to come from Japan. Still waiting.......

in his latest TV interview the reporter asked for him about the 240 Z and Goertz agreed mthat he did not design the Z. He is quiet about that. He only mentioned that he did some work in Japan as an consultant. Okay now ?

I wanted to present my Z at a concour d'elegance. Most cars there are drawn by well known designers. I cancelled.

Hi guys,

Look what I run into today, I came face to face with a Toyota 200GT. This is the second time if seen this car. I know the Dutch Toyota importer has three!!!! A white one for display and a red and ??? color in the garage. This one is from Switzerland and came all the way down to this event. If you all ever seen this car alive your hooked.
