davecarmichael Posted February 19, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2007 Hi, my name is Dave and I live in the Portland area. I am a proud owner of a yellow 1970 z. I am the second owner of the car, and purchased it in 1979. I would be interested to hear from other portland area z owners, for a possible drive on a weekend, etc. I don't have email, but you can reach me at 503-887-4310. Thanks!Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/23329-new-member-looking-for-other-240z-owners/ Share on other sites
hls30.com Posted February 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2007 Be very carefull-those Oregon Z owners have a serious sense of humor! You may find they have a tendancy to have way too much fun!Beware of letting them see your car, evidently they have an "IN" with Hot Wheels, and might get your car coppied in miniature, and sold at some 'Mart type store! They are a good bunch of guys who the rest of us just misunderstand!Sreiously there are a bunch of Zs in Oregone(some aren't even yellow!), and a great bunch of owners! If you can't have fun with that crowd, you are way too serious! Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/23329-new-member-looking-for-other-240z-owners/#findComment-199771 Share on other sites
EScanlon Posted February 19, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 19, 2007 Since your car is Yellow...do you live in Beaverton? If it were Gold, then you could live in Vancouver....further up north (Tacoma) you'd have to go with Orange.J/K, welcome to the club.Enrique Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/23329-new-member-looking-for-other-240z-owners/#findComment-199775 Share on other sites
7T1240 Posted February 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 19, 2007 Hi Dave...welcome!I'm in Spokane, but I have relatives in Portland so I'm there on occassion. You'll be hearing from other Oregon and Western Washington members. They're a great group and very knowledgeable. I'm writing to alert you to the fact that you need to correct a serious ommission. A '70 240Z that you've owned since '79? I clicked on your gallery and there are no photos!!! Post some pictures ASAP - pretty please!Gary S. Arne Posted February 19, 2007 Share #8 Posted February 19, 2007 Don't hold your breath, guys. Dave said he has no e-mail, which to me says he has limited or no computer access. The fact that he hasn't been back since his first post kinda confirms that theory. One of us Oregonians will try to contact him...
