Darbji280z Posted June 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 14, 2007 Here is one for now and I'll have more up very very soon. I still need to take interior and engine shots. But I've had her for about a week. Tell me what you think of her... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/24592-fresh-pics-of-my-new-baby/ Share on other sites

Sailor Bob Posted June 14, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 14, 2007 Nice shot Darbji280 - looks like a professional advert pic for a new car. Car looks hot. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/24592-fresh-pics-of-my-new-baby/#findComment-212166 Share on other sites

sblake01 Posted June 14, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2007 Nice Z, love the silver, but the pic should be a little bigger so we can see the detail. I blew it up but you should shoot them at higher resolution. =Enigma= Posted June 14, 2007 Share #7 Posted June 14, 2007 Very nice Darbji. Looks pretty clean. Thanks for sharing. is it just the angle of the pic, or does that front bumper need some attention? You know you can replace those big old things with earlier bumpers for a cleaner look if you want. P.S. Sorry Stephen, I know you love your boat anchors. sblake01 Posted June 14, 2007 Share #8 Posted June 14, 2007 I don't 'love them'. They are what they are. Mine are clean and original w/good corner rubber and I don't see a need to change them. JMO. Sailor Bob Posted June 14, 2007 Share #9 Posted June 14, 2007 I agree with you Stephen - Original in good condition should stay. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/24592-fresh-pics-of-my-new-baby/#findComment-212206 Share on other sites
Arne Posted June 14, 2007 Share #10 Posted June 14, 2007 I vastly prefer my small bumpers, but if I had a 280Z that had bumpers that were in good condition, I'm pretty certain that I'd keep them too. Why modify if the originals are good? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/24592-fresh-pics-of-my-new-baby/#findComment-212216 Share on other sites
Darbji280z Posted June 15, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted June 15, 2007 Got any pics of those new bumpers??? Mine aren't bent or rusted, they are just, well... at a funny angle. I haven't tried to fix them yet, don't really know how. But I'd like to see those smaller bumpers you are talking about. I am considering getting some smaller ones and putting together a conservative body kit. You know, to maintain that classic look and add just a little something more than ordinary. Agreed Stephen, just having a little fun at your expense. Got any pics of those new bumpers??? I'm just atlking about the 70-72 240Z bumpers. You can see then on most of the pre-73 cars here.
