280ZED Posted June 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 15, 2007 Here are some pictures of a 1975 280Z 2+2 manufactured in 12/74. It has barely any serious rust besides some under the seats and some on the hatch but that is about it for rust. It has some factory options(I think I'm not sure, like rims, "bumper bars" and rear window louvers?). The car isn't running...yet. Enjoy. go to http://s209.photobucket.com/albums/bb100/1975_280Z/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/24606-my-280z/ Share on other sites

280ZED Posted June 16, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted June 16, 2007 Thank you, I see that you have a 78 280Z, do you have any pointers of where to check for things that might go wrong on 280? Darbji280z Posted June 16, 2007 Share #4 Posted June 16, 2007 Congratulations. She looks like she's in pretty decent shape. Which I guess you don't find too much anymore. 280ZED Posted June 16, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted June 16, 2007 Yes very true. There are a few out there that are no better than strainers which is heart breaking.I saw that you just got a 280Z, its a good feeling isn't it? 280ZED Posted August 27, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted August 27, 2007 It runs! Had to clean the tank, line, pump in order to make it run. Couple of friends helped me start it. With a little help from ether and BANG!! it runs. Little rough because I think one injector is plugged but otherwise pretty amazing for basically not running 25 years. Next I have to get the brakes fixed and the clutch slave cylinder replaced(I think) and I should be almost good to go.
