hls30.com Posted July 29, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2007 I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once-in ClearWater!, does that count?Seriously, I enjoy most music-though some radio stations do play the same noise that makes me think a radio obviously needs repair! Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25057-country-music/#findComment-216866 Share on other sites
boyblunda Posted July 29, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 29, 2007 Just a little suspicious about where this might be going Rick but I will put my hand up as a mild fan although by no means an authority. Saw Dolly Parton live in the 80's and had to give her points as a real performer on the stage. The Gambler is my number one song of all time. Carl Beck Posted July 30, 2007 Share #7 Posted July 30, 2007 I have a lot of country music loaded on my iPod... it makes the highway miles fly by...."if you know what I mean"... Will - Can't Get No "SATISFACTION" - was written in Clearwater, FL ...although at the Fort Harrison Hotel....but a Holliday Inn Express is close...FWIW,Carl B. bigoak Posted July 30, 2007 Share #8 Posted July 30, 2007 More into bluegrass here, but I do listen to some country stuff. Steve Earle, Allison Krauss, Whiskeytown, Ryan Adams, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, etc.Saw Son Volt at a tiny club in Cleveland. Must have '99 or '00 or so...A buddy took me. Didn't know who they were before but man what a show...Other than that, I like to play "Convoy" by Paul Brandt when we all get together to go to car shows...That's about it for country... EScanlon Posted July 30, 2007 Share #9 Posted July 30, 2007 Careful guys, knowing Rick this could be just the bait to the trap...and we know he doesn't take prisoners. He just keeps zapping them from time to time, witness Bill's on-going skirmish. What's the score now Rick, 57 to 2 or 3 in your favor? As far as Country, what about Country Rock which you don't often hear any more. Marshall Tucker Band, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr., David Allan Coe just a few favorites from times gone by.E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25057-country-music/#findComment-216954 Share on other sites

sblake01 Posted July 31, 2007 Share #12 Posted July 31, 2007 I like all kinds of music. In the area of country, I guess the bands I like are really more crossover country/rock/pop types like ZZTop, Atlanta Rhthym Section, Lynryd Skynard, Molly Hatchett, Marshall Tucker, Black Crowes(don't know if they really fit the catagory), etc. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25057-country-music/#findComment-217076 Share on other sites
