tibZ Posted August 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 5, 2007 Always a pleasure to see pictures of that car. In my opinion one of the finest restorations I've ever seen. Glad to see it went to a good home. Love the stance with the new panasports. Mckrack Posted August 5, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 5, 2007 That's very nice specimen. I suppose it doesn't matter to you at this time that it is not dead nuts original. Some folks love the Panasports. I don't love them. I think they have an English bent to them not Japanese. I prefer the original D Hubcaps but that's what makes the world go round. Do you have an OEM set of wiper arms and inserts for the car? Would enjoy seeing more pictures specifically the interior. I also like white in any car. Second easiest to keep clean after silver. Good luck with it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25113-pix-of-the-newest-z/#findComment-217505 Share on other sites
JimmyZ Posted August 6, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 6, 2007 Sweet ride! Seriously diseazed, you need to do calendar work. If not for Z's then perhaps for Snap On or something.Congrats on the '70.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25113-pix-of-the-newest-z/#findComment-217512 Share on other sites
tibZ Posted August 6, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 6, 2007 Carl, this car restoration was documented on this website.http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=7867 When he finished it, it went on ebay. It didn't last the duration of the auction, diseazd must of made him an offer he couldn't refuse........ If it were me, I wouldn't have sold it at that price... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25113-pix-of-the-newest-z/#findComment-217525 Share on other sites
Diseazd Posted August 6, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted August 6, 2007 The Z's are my pops. If you like thos photos, check out the ones I took of my car. http://www.flickr.com/photos/14049800@N00/sets/72157600346688189/Indeed, this is the car from eBay. It is amazing. The only problems seem to be some proneness to chipping with the Urethane exterior paint, and the passenger side mirror. The engine bay is superb and the car drives, feels, and smells like a new car. My pops loves the panasports. I like them too, but if I had my way, they would be watanabes. Great news on the sfari gold 71 we are restoring..... He is keeping it safari gold instead of silver!!!!!Here are a few of the bay<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14049800@N00/765362995/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1319/765362995_fab8c00287.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_2604" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14049800@N00/766235250/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1167/766235250_2dfa855f17.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_2615_2" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14049800@N00/766235220/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1247/766235220_a570bc13dc.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_2614_2" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14049800@N00/765362545/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1411/765362545_c573110894.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_2600_2" /></a> Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/25113-pix-of-the-newest-z/#findComment-217528 Share on other sites
