sblake01 Posted August 13, 2007 Share #26 Posted August 13, 2007 Welcome Jill. I don't know where Flower Mound is but I do have a sister that lives in Houston. I'm not much into the myspace/chat/texting type thing but to each his (or her) own. Don't worry, you'll love the color because Z's look good in any color! sblake01 Posted August 13, 2007 Share #29 Posted August 13, 2007 Me? There are actually three Datsuns I have to choose from. The 810 is my daily driver. It's basically a 2 dr hardtop with 280zx running gear. Except for the engine which is a L24E instead of a L28E. The Z is for fun. Don't forget the truck. I guess it's for show since it's not confortable enough to drive daily or for fun. sblake01 Posted August 13, 2007 Share #36 Posted August 13, 2007 Not really a collector. I just have what I have. I stripped the 810 down myself and had it painted by a nearby shop in Ontario, Ca. about 4 years ago when I lived in Fontana. It's the same shop that painted my Z about 10 years ago. It was at his suggestion that I strip it myself to save on cost. Saved me about 600 bucks labor.
