WingZr0 Posted November 10, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 10, 2007 Ya'll should pick up this months issue of Collectible Automoble Magizine.Theres a Yellow 1971 240Z in the restoration profile section that was restored by Pierre Z as a "prototype" to the 50 or so Z's they did for the Nissian restoration program. Some of you Cats and Kittens out there might know this story already but for those who don't, the story and pics of this paticular '71 Z's restoration process (before and after) are great :classic:I couldn't find the magizine's website online but pic it up, it's worth the read and also note theres no mention of the article on the cover so thumb through it and look for the restoration profile / profile's to make sure you have the right copy of the mag.~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26184-1971-240z-in-collectible-auotmobile-magizone-this-month/ Share on other sites

Arne Posted November 12, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 12, 2007 Linky no workyThat's because there was extra formatting in the link tag to make the text bold. 26th-Z Posted November 12, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 12, 2007 Ok. I linked and searched and searched. Can't find the article. I wonder if it is the same one Road and Track did in 1996. Would really like to see this article. WingZr0 Posted November 12, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted November 12, 2007 Ok. I linked and searched and searched. Can't find the article. I wonder if it is the same one Road and Track did in 1996. Would really like to see this article. Thyanx for the link fix Arne Yeah I tried that too. This is what the Cover looks like Notice no mention of a Z. Tha Opel in there's pretty cool though, (the Blue one in the top corner) It's on the News Stands now, been there about a week. Maybe the Website hasn't updated yet as non of those cars are in the magizine Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26184-1971-240z-in-collectible-auotmobile-magizone-this-month/#findComment-228370 Share on other sites
xray Posted November 13, 2007 Share #7 Posted November 13, 2007 Seems like an annual event for Sports and Exotic to do something for the Z---now that my car is nearly finished, I say the more press the better! They just did an article in January 2006, so I wonder what they'll have to say this go round. Maybe some real auction results.... Edit: I checked out the current issue TOC and it lists a restoration profile for a Z, but no text--probably to make us buy it and read it (which I'll do!) http://www.hemmings.com/store/current_issue.html?pub=HSX Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26184-1971-240z-in-collectible-auotmobile-magizone-this-month/#findComment-228399 Share on other sites
