You said "fully restored". See if you can get photos of the restoration process. That should answer most of the questions. If you have any concerns based on those photos, post them here. You'll get plenty of help.

BTW, nice looking car.

A couple of things: There seems to be some crimping or irregularity along the wheel wells, I'd check into that. No cover on the air cleaner (do they have it?). The Fairlady badging is a little odd on a LHD IMO.

Didn't get the 240 people! Never got a test drive because it needed a brake booster, hung around for a few days and com. w/owner got sparse. Come Fri. I get a text he sold it for 8K, as is. 'Rust free' is pretty subjective, Huh? Great weather though, enjoyed the trip and experience. There's a white G-nose 240 on Ebay, might drive up to Jersey to see it. Is that G-nose an acquired taste, because I'm not sure I've got it.

Any idea on a conversion back to stock on that g-nose? The restof car looks super clean. Gonna drive up and check out the rust prone areas on thurs.

I don't know about converting back, but I think you're better off looking for a car that is what you want "as is" rather than one you will have to spend a boat load of $$$$ on in order to get there. It will be significantly less expensive in the end! Unless of course, you want to do the work yourself, and are looking for a project. Plenty of nice 240Z's for sale, there are a couple of members here that are selling their cars for a reasonable price, and there is always Hemmings and eBay to check out. Often, you can get another member to check out the car for you prior to purchase if it is not located near you.

Didn't really think it would be that bad on a conversion back. Your probably right! My problem is - Ive got a good mechanic, but honest and good autobody guys I don't. My pockets aren't that deep. There's another ebay '71 in Fla. w/a v8 conversion. Talked to him last night, and he let me hear it start up. Not the Z resonance I want, sounded like a 60's musclecar. Very clean body though!
