Hell, I was looking to get around $2500. for my non-op and it's rust free and comes with all sorts of goodies. I was going to let it go with the triples, 2 e-88's, 2 headers, 2 sets of new pistons, mallory with a pertronix convertion, 2 cranks, yada, yada, yada. I figuered I better keep it and try to finish it.

"Rust Free?" Is there such a thing as a rust free car?

(Not in Indiana obviously....)

They do exist. There are also a number of "low-rust" Zs. Here's another one located in the Golden State that would make an excellent project car:

Yeah, they do exist. Best bets for truly rust free are low mileage one or two owner cars that have been garaged all their life, preferably here out West. They can take some effort and/or luck to find, though.

I have one, in my case it was luck.

This one just ended and now is relisted. I think it was $3700 Reserve not met. Any guesses on what that rear bumper is from? Also i noticed not one pic of any of the typical rust prone areas.

Link doesn't work.
