Carl Beck Posted January 21, 2008 Author Share #13 Posted January 21, 2008 I have heard Peter talk on Nissan's racing history. Great speaker.Hi Mark:Are you coming down for the Amelia Island Concours in March? Peter and Gayle will be there so you would have an opportunity to meet them. I'll be meeting them there with the BRE Baja Z if all goes well. I understand that John will be there with the BRE #46 510 as well.http://www.ameliaconcours.org/FWIW,Carl B. 26th-Z Posted January 22, 2008 Share #15 Posted January 22, 2008 I was thinking of skipping the Sebring 12 hour this year in favor of Amelia Island. I have been wanting to see the Concours for some time and this might be the year to do it. carusoracer Posted February 22, 2008 Share #19 Posted February 22, 2008 Well, I just got back from meeting Peter and his wife Gayle and they were incredibly nice people. I got to talk to him about Datsuns and his career for about an hour. What an amazing life! The poster and pictures are great. Sounds like the posters are going quickly. Since they only started with 80, I don't think they have many left. I also ordered the T-shirt with the BRE 240z on the back. They are probably the highest quality T's out there. Gayle also brought most of the other items they offer, so I could check them out and give them some feedback. Everything is very high quality. The 510 RC model looks cool. I can't wait until they finish the 240z model. I also got to see a protype coffee mug they have with a side view of the BRE 240z and Peter. A day to remember for sure!-MikeVery nice! I could not think of anything more fun than meeting the actual people. You are very fortunate.:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26803-peter-brock-offers-rare-1971-25-trans-am-championship-poster-23x32/?page=2#findComment-238207 Share on other sites
AndysPlit Posted February 22, 2008 Share #20 Posted February 22, 2008 So I went and ordered this poster this morning, along with a couple of the 240z photos and paid the $10 to have the photos signed by Peter. His wife emailed me shortly thereafter I said that they only live a couple of miles away from me and wondered if I would be interested in having lunch with her and Peter. They will hand deliver the items, instead of shipping, since they are so close. Needless to say, I jumped at the offer, so I'll be meeting them this afternoon. How cool is that?-Mike Wow, congrats! jmark Posted March 10, 2008 Share #21 Posted March 10, 2008 The BRE site has some more neat stuff. I picked up a hat & 240Z pin as well as 3 240Z photos.
