madkaw Posted January 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2008 Can anyone verify (or not) that the rear valence on a 240z is the same as the 280z. I need to replace mine and I need to know how big my shoppping list can be. I thought the hls-30 were all the same? geezer Posted January 19, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2008 If you happen to find a source for them, let us know about it. I didn't get too serious in my search for one and decided to just repair the original, but it's still good to know. zanthus Posted January 19, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2008 I'd like to know too. My 280 needs a new rear valance and I don't know where to find one and mine is going to be hard to repair. zpizzaman20 Posted January 19, 2008 Share #6 Posted January 19, 2008 Depending on which part of the valance you need Motorsmut has the bottom.http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/SBC1C02/30-7240 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26807-rear-valence/#findComment-234693 Share on other sites
madkaw Posted January 19, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted January 19, 2008 I saw the motorsport panel. Please take notice the metal thickness-16 guage-that is a stout panel. I imagine the original was about 20 guage at best. I just hope to find an original that i can cut off someones car!
