rbertsz Posted January 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2008 My Father parked this 240z here in Spokane, Washington in 1986. Now it's my new project. According to my Dad it looks worse then it is, the interior is in super condition, and rust is minimal. Now if I can only get it here to New Jersey. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/bertonestudio/green240zrear.jpg Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26847-hello-from-new-member-my-72-240z-project/ Share on other sites

rbertsz Posted January 22, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted January 22, 2008 I'm already addicted. My father bought a 73 240z new, when I was a kid and he never would let me drive it...man it was sweet! I'm already buying parts for this one. snag point Posted January 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2008 It looks like it is really good shape for its storage method. Does it still have the flat top carbs? rbertsz Posted January 22, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted January 22, 2008 HI, I'm not sure,I haven't seen the Z up close and didn't ask my Father. He told me it was all original, but I'm going to call him today to make sure. ( It's definitely staying green). I want to restore it to original condition. Thanks,Robert Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/26847-hello-from-new-member-my-72-240z-project/#findComment-234956 Share on other sites
snag point Posted January 22, 2008 Share #6 Posted January 22, 2008 My Bad, I was thinking it was a 73 like mine. 72's didn't have flat tops. You are lucky it is a 72. What a gift. Carl Beck Posted May 30, 2008 Share #8 Posted May 30, 2008 Did your Father buy the 73 new in Spokane? Maybe he bought it from me! I was at Jaremko Motors and Valley Datsun in 73. Does he still have the 73 also?Good luck with the restoration..FWIWCarl B.
