I would like to welcome myself to this site as I have just acquired my dad's old '73 240Z HLS30 139584. He passed away last year and I finally got a chance to tow it from Va Beach up here to Richmond, Va. It has been in the garage (driving my mom nuts) for 15+ years. Probably only driven 1000 miles in the 5-7 years before that. So needless to say it is in great shape. No rust at all...all original parts...no body damage...good bumpers etc. Only thing is that it has not been turned over in 15+ years so I have a little work to do just to get it running. Then gotta figure out what I want to do with it. So I will be here with lots of questions over the next couple of years. Look forward to all the help and advice. Thanks.

Well first things first....since I am not sure how the fuel system was left before the car sat for 15 years, I was wondering if anyone knows of a fuel system cleaner/solvent to rid the tank and fuel lines of that nasty varnish that will probably be in there. Thanks in advance.

Welcome Z Good 1. That is a subject that has been covered many times and there is a wealth of information on this subject in the archives. Use the search function with the appropriate key words. You should find more than you wanted to know. Of coarse some members are pretty proud of the results they have had and will tell you their experiences. Good Luck
