I just found this on Ebay. $1200 BIN on the East Coast.

Wow, my wife would kill me.

Tell her...this one's for you honey:ermm:

She can only kill you once!

This one is interesting too.

Looks pretty solid from the looks of the pictures. The seller is right- 240Zs, particularly on the East Coast, are hard to find in this virtually rust-free condition (and at a bargain basement price). Someone on the East Coast can buy this California Z for the price of shipping it from California!

I was looking at that car talked to the guy. He is about a hour from me. Anyone know if a 280z interior would fit in a 240z? I mostly mean all the plastic trim pieces as that car is missing all the interior panels. I have a whole extra set of interior for my 280 including headliner.

Geezer,

I might have gotten away with before I got 2 ....3.....4.....5 cars plus a parts car she wants out of the driveway

yeah I bought it but the scumbag sole it from under me, he said a Miami guy came up and bought it while I was doing BIN, luckily I got my deposit back, probably was dade280 who bought it.

I guess things worked out for the best since I found my other gem http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29498

I think you may have dodged a bullet on that one.

The hood is missing a chunk....how did that happen?

The hatch area has surprisingly "smooth" edges at the ends where the rust is known to begin. The engine compartment has two different coats of paint, yet everywhere else the flat black primer is evident? While the one underside shown looks clean, the other side isn't shown. Rockers, front and rear fenders, no detail pictures.

You did MUCH better with the other car, that one is a keeper and the costs associated with that one will be much less than with this one.

FWIW
