Hey, welcome to the site. Theres lots of great info here and good luck getting a 240z. Have you put much thought into what you want exactly? A weekend driver, something you can restore, etc.??

Read up plenty on getting a 240Z...rust is the major issue and it always costs more to repair than just putting up some extra coin buy rust-free to begin with...

If you are thinking of buying a car in another location, see if someone on the board will inspect it for you (usually not that hard to find).

i always wanted a weekend driver but could never decide....

for years i couldnt decide between a 66 Lincoln Continental Convertible or a JDM Datsun Bluebird 1600 or 1800 coupe... http://www.datsunbluebird.com/

i always like the s30 fairladys growing up on the island (Trinidad) but i loved the Bluebird i just felt that the Z just were not as sexy .

it wasn't until a few months ago when i stumbled across wangan midnight i saw how sexy a Z can really be.....

so basically that is the direction i' heading.....
