bigjohnsonzc Posted May 5, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 5, 2008 So im reduing my fuel system and need a few ideas and or sugestions...... first off its my 77 280z fairlady. its fuel injected and has a really bad rust problem.... t only has 55 thousand miles but its been sitting for a few years. it ran great and didnt seem to have many problems, besides it liked to over heat but thats a different story... my plan is to stroke the 2.8 to a 3.1 and want to change the injectors... well duhh..... right... but which ones should i go with, size wise that is.... i know that the injectors that are in it alone must be horrible considering rust, but if im going to change them i better change them to the ones that go with the 3.1L. im in the mitts of having the fuel tank relined cause its filled with rust but not to the point were its ruined.. what else should i replace..... probably the fuel pump... and injectors... but whats a good size.... and GPM (gallons per minute) fuel pump. im so confused.... if you can help me out that would be great... thanks guys Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/27989-what-injectors-to-use/ Share on other sites
geezer Posted May 5, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2008 In your other post you said the block serial number started with L20. That put the kibosh on your plans. You have a L20E in your car, it is not a L28. Use the search function and familiarize yourself with what you have and what you can do with it.
