Yellow Fever Posted May 18, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2008 Hi every1, hope ur all doing fine. I just got this Datsun 240Z and 1 of the wheel caps fell off and now im stuck without 1 center cap. Does any1 know where I can find center caps for these wheels and does any1 know what wheels they are? lonetreesteve Posted May 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2008 Those wheels and center caps are after-market and not stock and I'm not sure where you can find them. Can any1 (anyone) else help? EScanlon Posted May 18, 2008 Share #4 Posted May 18, 2008 Center cap is going to be tough, I found a similar wheel at Dayton:http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/classic.htmlBut the center cap doesn't have that additional ridge yours seems to have. You could try calling them, but in my experience if it doesn't have Dayton stamped on the wheel (backside) they'll just tell you it's not their product and that's it. They won't hazard a guess or anything. But, it might give you something to begin with.E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/28148-datsun-240z-wheels/#findComment-247882 Share on other sites
Arne Posted May 18, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 18, 2008 Those appear to be Tru-Spokes. Tru-Spoke ended up as part of the Cragar family, but Cragar no longer builds wire wheels.Cragar's accessory page does show a similar cap, but I don't know if it is really the same, or even if it will fit your wheels.http://www.cragarwheel.com/catalogs_accessories.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/28148-datsun-240z-wheels/#findComment-247892 Share on other sites

sblake01 Posted May 18, 2008 Share #7 Posted May 18, 2008 Those look like the Rally wheel caps. I've also seen them on the smoothie wheels. Zooming in on Hassan's wheels, I don't think they're the same. Arne Posted May 18, 2008 Share #8 Posted May 18, 2008 That's why I said they look similar, they could be very different in both size and detail. Best guess at this point.
