After my trip to North Carolina, I was blown away at the condition of this car. Mark did a masterful job of taking care of her. I am now left how to bring her home. I have to find a good transport company to bring her back to me. I already miss her. But its good to be among the fold now. Here are some pics of my new pride and joy.

words cannot describe the feeling of finally owning my childhood dream car. I look forward to giving it a good bath, claybar, wax, and polish. I will enjoy every single minute with this beauty!

Congrats, she looks great. I also lusted after a Z since childhood, so I know the feeling of finally owning one too. And just in time for Summer. It's like Christmas all over again every time you start her up. I love the look of the black stripes installed below the rocker line, instead of above it.

I wanted to, buy my wife is taking care of our new 4 month old by herself. She needs me back quick, not taking every backroad in existance in my new Z. So I have to wait for the transport folks to deliver my baby.

Just need to find a good reliable one.

Good thing you have the before pics. When you have the delivery company deliver it to you, don't let them leave and don't sign for it until you take a good look at everything to make sure the company hasn't damaged anything. If so, take pics, note it on the bill of delivery (laden), then contact the shipping company. I had a friend who bought a pontiac trans am, had it delivered, and the shipping company damaged the front air dam, however, he didn't put it on the bill of delivery (laden), and he had to pay for the cost of repair instead of the shipping company.

Yeah,I know, I asked about that... I was wondering why they were so low instead of lined up with the Datsun decal. I plan on taking them off if the paint underneath is not discolored or overly bright. I would really prefer a clean side.

Congrats, the car looks super. I know about the wife at home with a kid. Back in 2000, 3 weeks after my son was born, I flew to Florida to buy and drive back an Infiniti J30. I was gone 20 hours but I STILL have to hear about it every now and then! And...her Mother was in town helping her, I should have made it a 20 day trip

I wanted a Z since I was about 10 and just got one last month - I know how you feel, but I too would suggest it is worth driving it home! Enjoy both the car and the kid!
