Turn signals and flasher

I have a 71 240 Z in which I have replaced the wiring harness on the dash. The flashers do not work and the turn signals do not work when the flasher switch is turned to the on position. Can anyone give me an idea of the solution to this?

this maybe obvious and most like you have done it, but check the connections. Are they hooked up? Have you checked the fuses?

Two possible scenarios:

1) There are two (2) DIFFERENT flasher relays for the 4-way flashers and the turn signals. Your Turn Signal Flasher may be working, but NOT the 4-Way (Hazard) Flasher.

2) Your Hazard Switch is not working properly.
