So I searched this on the forum, apparently no one has touched upon it in at least a few years (or it's a problem unique to me) so...

Anyway, when I'm at speed and roll my windows up, they won't be in the track by the time they're at the top, and I'm left with a gap... If I stop the car, they'll roll up normally.

I'd like to attribute this in terms of my car's immense speed being enough to create a pressure differential, rather than simply having an out of adjustment track ROFL I lean towards the former once more because upon asking my father (who had at least 5 of the things, 240 to 260), he claims each of his cars had the same issue.

So IS this normal?

It helps (note: helps, doesn't mean it eliminates) if you open the fresh air vents.

Not just the one controlled via the Heater Control Panel, but also the two controlled with the pull knob down by the lower corners of the dash.

You can also add a second window roller to the door which may also help alleviate this.

New window channel felt may be helpful also. When I restored my doors, the original felt was hardened, flat and allowed for substantial window glass movement within the channel. I can imagine that at speed the window could be forced into an orientation that doesn't allow it close completely. If you think that helps, JC Whitney sells replacement felt for reasonable prices, and it's an easy process. Here's a thread:
