Hi guys. It is great to be part of this forum. I just turned 65 and have been a car lover all my life, much to the disapointment of my wife. She has put up with all the money I have spent in my passion for cars. I always wanted a 240Z but never found what I was looking for. I am not mechanical and I needed to find one that had just been restored to a high level. After looking for a while I found the car about a month ago. It is a fully restored 1970 240Z. It is silver with black interior. I should get it this month. It is being finished in California and should be shipped about the middle of the month. I have always loved fast cars and today one of my cars is a 997 GT3. The GT3 is probably the most perfect car I have ever owned.

I am looking forward to going to some Datsun meets and seeing other's cars and letting them see mine. I am trying to figure out whether I want to keep it stock or modify it in some way.

Looking forward to learning more about Z's from you guys and gals.

LJBryan

wow, thats beautiful. You've gotta be stoked with that. Would I be out of line to ask what it cost you for such a fine specimen? I'd love to bring one back from the dead to that condition, with the exact color scheme, a ball park number would be very appreciated so I can know what to expect. If not, I understand.

Great 240, congrats!!

Hi guys. It is great to be part of this forum.

Hi Larry,

It's great to have you! I saw your photos come across the gallery and your car looks absolutely amazing. This forum is an excellent place to get help or just to sit and discuss Z stories. Have a great time and let me know if you have any issues.

Mike

Hello Larry,

Welcome, You just got yourself a great catch for the right price especially for those who are not mechanically literate. You would have to spend about that much to have someone else do the job for you and it would probably take forever. I like it. I would'nt mind driving it Downtown Clematis Street/City Place, West Palm Beach on a Weekend basis.

I am lucky to have several cars including a 997 GT3. My fun with owing cars is driving them. Thus I have 8200 miles on my GT3 and will put more on it this weekend when I go to the Tail of the Dragon trip. The Z will be driven, but due to its age and condition, I will probably try to not drive it in the rain or bad weather.
