mtndude Posted October 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2008 My son just boogered the front driver side of his 78 280Z. We're on our own for the repair. Any leads on deals for the following? Used is ok. Driver side Front Fender Drivers side Front Headlight bucket Headlight assembly Drivers side Bumper side cap front amber side marker light assembly Thanks to everyone. This site has been a great help keeping his Z running and looking great. grantf Posted October 7, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2008 (edited) buy a new fender ( obveous ) or take it to a body shop if you cannot do the work you're self. I think black dragon has some body panels and another site that had sections you could weld back in, i forget that site though.unlikely but a really good hammer and dolly job could fix most of it but a new eye socket is in order.sorry I know this is not that much help. sblake01 Posted October 7, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 7, 2008 (edited) sorry I know this is not that much help. Then why post it? The fender is thrashed. Unless you have the skills, you'd have to pay for a 'really good hammer and dolly job' and that would cost more than a replacemnt fender. Patch panels for a 280Z fender? I've never seen them. mntndude, I might have a line on something. I've sent you a pm. hls30.com Posted October 7, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 7, 2008 Check car-parts.com for a local salvage yard that may have some if not all of the pieces to save shipping and get an idea what they can be had for. Some can be found regularly on ebay, but check shipping before ordering! The fender and several of the parts are still available from the dealer-see if your local club has a discount-or approach the parts manager for a better price. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/29597-need-body-parts-for-our-78-280z/#findComment-262619 Share on other sites
