I showed the wife the Monitor and she says "No, it doesn't work for me"

I think the only time Yellow and Black look good together in colors (not pinstripes) is a yellow paint job with Satin Black racing stripes.

I'm more of a solid color car guy but to each his own, if you like it, do it.

I'm going to buck the trend here. I rather like it. Paint the air dam yellow to match, de-chrome it and use fiberglass bumpers painted the dark color. I think that would pop!

You might actually be on to something Arne. I like the whole Dark or flat black ZG flare thing. But you're right, the air dam needs to match the body.

To my eye it's fine for a track car but a bit too much for the street.for this paint scheme I'd go with the dark hood, (doesn't have to be CF), and BRE stripes.

Guess I'm just too conservative...I do agree with the others about the matching yellow air dam. I think would look better yellow.

But don't worry about what we think._Bottom line, it's YOUR car, paint it the way YOU like and have fun with it!

Thanks to all who replied, I appreciate the honesty.

I'm not to sure about the Yellow myself. The picture did not show the colours exactly as I was hoping. The top and stripe colour is supposed to match the graphite wheels. I'm re-working the graphite to make it lighter and changing the body to orange instead of yellow. I will also be adding the void on the BRE stripes where the "DATSUN" sticker would go. I'll post new pics soon, I have to decide by the end of next week, my car is almost ready for paint.
