I'll have to check if somebody is interest.- Front rail seem ok but the steel is separating near the swaybar mounted. Not sure is usable this way or could be fix. But if your going in the process in changing the rails, should have a etter one (my 2¢ only)Can send a picture if some parts can find a good home. Will be cutting everything in parts this week end.Everything is free y the way.Joce Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/29890-1972-shell-parts-to-give-away/ Share on other sites

soundmasterg Posted November 6, 2008 Share #6 Posted November 6, 2008 I assume since it was in a fire, things like the driver's side door pin are no longer useable? If its still good, then I need a driver's side door pin for a '72. Six_Shooter Posted November 7, 2008 Share #10 Posted November 7, 2008 And just for reference, this is the doglegActually that's the rocker panel. The dogleg is the part between the back edge of the door, to the wheel well, and down to the bottom of the rocker. I'll draw on a picture of what I'm after later. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/29890-1972-shell-parts-to-give-away/#findComment-265654 Share on other sites
JonnyRock Posted November 7, 2008 Share #11 Posted November 7, 2008 six shooter - You're right, I extended the box too far. I have corrected the picture to highlight the dogleg only. The area just above the circle could be included as well, but the area I circled is were the rust most commonly is. Six_Shooter Posted November 7, 2008 Share #12 Posted November 7, 2008 Yeah that would be what I need. My car seems to have come in contact with an im-movable object in that area at some point, and has pushed the metal in, which seems to be a cause of a veryy little rust. If it weren't for the actual damage, the car would just need a re-paint for the most part.
