Do any of you live in Cottage Grove, MN??? Everytime I take 70th Street going to work there is house on the corner with a beautiful restored 240Z sitting in the garage. It keeps progressing everytime I see it and now it looks like it's pretty much finished from what I can see driving by. Looks very nice. Does this belong to anyone on this site??? Here I thought I was the only one in town with a classic Z Car. I'm happy to see another enthusiast so close to me.

Just curious if the owner is possibly on this site. :classic:

95 is a cool road to take with any sports car. I have yet to take it with my z but will add that to the list of "must take" rides. On that list is the north shore, WI side of the Mississippi down through prescott, into red wing and down through Lake City and back up through durand WI and 94 back home. that should be about a 3 hour trip.

Maybe i'll see you out there. I'll be in the Gold 240.

I remember taking 95 all the way home after getting my new tires on the RX-7... that was a fun trip :). If we're thinking of the same 95, but the way you describe it I think we are.

Right now I live in St. Paul on the U of M campus, but my car is up in North Branch. If it ran I'd love to cruise with you guys sometime.

Sounds like there are 3 of you in fairly close proximity and a fourth finishing up a car. Around here we call that enough for a fun run. Somebody needs to put on the ol' Organizers hat and start putting some folks together.....

I'm not gonna have my car driveable until at least spring, more likely summer. I need to get this ignition stuff taken care of and replace the head gasket at the very least. But I wanna get that old automatic transmission out ASAP too, I was hoping to do that this spring. And I wanna take care of the worn out suspension bushings and whatnot. Lots of work to do before I'd be comfortable taking the car more than a short distance.

Also on that note, I don't suppose any of you local guys have a spare MT 240Z distributor laying around?
