Need help with getting the pictures uploaded. I keep getting an error message that says a security token is missing. Is there a better way than just attaching the files. I have 30 pictures and it looks like I can only attache 10 at a time?

Hi Monte,

Yes, the images you're uploading to the forum are too big and seem to be overloading something. A better way is to upload the photos to your gallery (link is above) and then you can send to it here.

Thanks for the tip Mike.

I got the photos uploaded to my gallery, once approved you will be able to view them.

Also, thanks for the advice on photobucket tibZ, got the photos in but couldnt see how to make them so you guys could see them. I guess I am not too tech savy with that sort of thing.

Anyway, hope this helps. Will be glad to answer any questions, clarify anything.

Once on your photobucket page, just highlight the url http://photobucket, etc , click copy and then paste it into your message on here.

Ok, here are the photos through photobucket. Thank you MEZZZ. (I was trying to paste the URL in the manage attachements area and then hit upload and it didnt like that). Some comments with these photos.

General overall shape is now shown, although the rust on the lower fenders looks like it could be mud as well . Maybe a higher pixel shot (better camera) should be used ! Clear pics removes all questions but also reveals the work needed to restore or part out.....:D Your asking price might be $1500 ( MAYBE ) , not $2800 . It's really that far along the rust path , IMHO . Oh, the mileage is probably 147,000 . No way 47,000 unless it was driven in the winter for those years.

I paid $2500 for my 240Z (#09253) last year.

Highlights

complete, original car

matching #'s

all the original paperwork

2nd owner

much less rust then yours (just a little in the dog legs)

running (just needed a tune up and carbs cleaned to pass emissions)

No offense, but judging by the pics you posted, and knowing what my car looked liked when I bought it I could not see paying $2,800 for it.

I have seen non-running 240Zs, with less rust then yours going for $800 on craigs list.

I've seen running 240Zs in similar condition going for $1,200.

Note: I live in Tucson, AZ your mileage may vary
