Hello

I am trying to print out my own white gauges. My car is in storage. Anyone know the diameter of the speedo/tach?

I measured 3.5 or 3.75 inches . Dont want to print out on the good photo paper if its the wrong size. If the speedo is the right size on my printout than the rest will be as well, since it was scanned from the right gauges.

Do you have to pull the dash to get to the speedo tach??

Thanks

The speedometer and tach can be removed without pulling the dash unless you have a dash cap. It's easier if you remove the tach first. That will give you easier access to the speedo cable and tripmeter cable. It's just a matter of getting under the dash and removing the screws that hold them in place and pulling them far enough out to remove the electrical connections. A little tedious but nothing like removing the dash!

Dave, do you know anyone doing the white gauge faces for the series I gauges? I've had my eye out for a set for a long time.

Last I heard, This guy makes a damn good set for the early 240Z's as well as the other year S30's.

He is also Jasmaster on Ebay. He sell the full page of faces and asks you which guages you have so you get the correct set, unlike MSA.
