I don't know about you, but my Z is super reliable and gets near 30mpg.

I'm in college and have been nothing but happy with my Z. Sure owning a 40 year old car can be frustrating at times, but my Z's a hell of a lot more reliable than my girlfriends '01 Jetta.

If you want a Z just take the time to find a good one, and then buy it!

I'd love to get my hands on an s30 thats gets 30 mpg. I can see the L6 getting 30mpg on the highway, but my civic will get 40 mpg highway if i keep my foot out of it, which is hard because ive got a 4.11 and power till 7k. I do the 1/4 in 16.7 E.T. with a 1.5L doing 130hp, or there abouts. I did that E.T. with stock exhaust that designed to flow a 92 hp vx motor, cold air intake, and a failing input shaft bearing in my tranny. I think i could acheive low 16's if i got header back exhaust and a new tranny

Will the inline 6 get that 30 mpg or was it a swap?

Last time I drove to my parents house (250 miles away) I got about 27mpg. It was literally all highway though. Daily driven around town, it's definitely more in the 20mpg range.

I've got the original #s matching L6 with the stock round-top SU's.
