Congratulations, Clive. I can only imagine how excited you have been getting this time capsule home.

I second Mike's request for more pictures to include under-hood shots of any blackout paint forward of the radiator support such as the grill mounting brackets. Pictures of any surviving decals, of all sorts of original fasteners from hood hinges, fender ledges, door hinges, etc., would all be a terrific resource for future restorations.

Detail pictures of all parts of a very unmolested early 240z are invaluable.

Hope you guys can help me get the detailed pics you want. I am going to look over the car again tomorrow for anything I might have missed. It was pretty cold out today! ROFL

Nice find, What are your plans with it?

Mike

Plan is to swap a L30ET motor into it....so some of the series 1 car stuff will go for sale.

I plan to save the hood and fenders due to them being early car items. I also do need one clip for the inspection lids, knowing you can't find them anymore....maybe someone can help me out ;)

I should have the motor out next week. I have plans for this cat to be at the body shop next month.

Clive, I think someone on this site has reproduced those early plastic inspection lid clips. Not sure who, but someone should chime in with that info.
