240kconvertible Posted January 21, 2009 Share #15 Posted January 21, 2009 i can only think of 2 nice c110's in australia, I can think of a few more than 2 nice C110's in Aus, I guess it depends on what you call nice. Alfa's is in the Middle East so your down to one. Mastadd240K Posted January 21, 2009 Share #16 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) ok how about only 2 that ive seen at shows. that originate from australia. actually i can think of 4, including yours convertible man, and this gt coupe round the corner from me. got to go see that guy, And soopakarr's seams nice, but not what i would call show stoping without the bonnet up, but maybe ive only seen poor photosBut honestly maybe its because i was in the ndsoc for a few years and all we would see at show and shines were 240/260z's maybe ive been over exsposed and am now desensitized, kinda like watching 2 much porn. khughes Posted January 21, 2009 Author Share #17 Posted January 21, 2009 yeah, i agree.. 240k's are rarer than Z's now.. i have only twice seen a 240k on the road in the past 5 years.. both sedans (and one Jim's!).. seen plenty of 260z's i am told that the 240z is rare though (outside of america), which is why i grabbed it (and because i love the low sports look).. i am just glad to have the chance to own both cars at the same time! mind you i would give the Z up in a heartbeat for a C10 coupe! khughes Posted January 22, 2009 Author Share #19 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) hehe, of course i am quite familiar with hybridz.. some great RB swap information there (and partly why i like Z's so much ) i am still heavily considering either another RB26 in the Z, or go for a stroked 3.1L L28 with TWM EFI throttle bodies and a megasquirt or something.. but once it all adds up you square in RB26 territory (in price, not power ) - plus i kind of know what to expect with an RB swap.. i know nothing about stroking L28's but i like the thought of an NA induction roar Edited January 22, 2009 by khughes Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/30474-eoi-on-my-240k-gt-coupe/?page=2#findComment-271700 Share on other sites

Mr Camouflage Posted January 22, 2009 Share #21 Posted January 22, 2009 I saw a 240K coupe at Bunnings last weekend. Though about hanging around and waiting for the owner to come back, so I could talk him into selling it to me, but I have nowhere to put it. That one and one I saw broken down on the side of the road 6 years ago are the only 2 seater 240K's i've seen on the road over here (and mine of course).
