Hi all,

Well, I think it's officially time to get our act together and start an advisory committee for the club. This means that we will need a few volunteers to participate in conversations related to the well-being of the club.

This club is getting pretty big and I don't think I can do it all by myself anymore. I've had help from many of you in the past, so, I'd like to make it official by setting up a 'pecking order'....

Meetings might be quite difficult, however, I can set up specified forum areas so we can hold conversations (and even VOTE).

If we have multiple people helping the club go in a certain direction, it will make our experience that much better.

So, at this time, I'd like to put out a request for volunteers to help this club move in a direction that promotes us at the best Classic Club on the globe.

Just reply to this message (or send me a private message) if you are willing to help out in this manner.

Involvement? For now, we will make decisions about responsibilities based on your experience. For instance, we will need people experienced in financial roles, management, sales, technical, and so on. Involvement will include keeping up to date in our "Advisory" forum and adding your thoughts as the need arises. Official meetings aren't necessary at this point.

I already have a few of you in mind. But, please let me know what you think about this idea.. thanks!

I'd be honoured to help, but I've got no acredited managerial skills...

I've made dozens of websites though and if I had the time I would be professionally doing it - at one stage I was making a website for Waeco (currently the largest esky company in the world) but school made it impossible for me to meet the deadline :(

So, I can help with the website side of things if you need it....

Also I would love to be a moderator for some more forums :D

Just give me a yell if you need me

I'd be happy to help. I have a B.S. in Administrative Management. I have owned several businesses and currently work as a commissioned salesman. I also have been authoring weekly columns on wine for my local paper for two years and am working on a book (I know, wine has nothing to do with Z's). Lemme know.

Mike, if you go on don't forget to contact Alan Thomas. He is a nice and helpful guy, he has such an enormous knowledge about classic Z's history and technology, he has good contacts to the Z's home country, Japan, english is his parent language (not mine) and he could also represent the europeans in the club's board.

Good luck

Rolf

I am currently a member of mighty finnish nissandatsunsportscarclub. We do not have so many real z cars here to have our own club....

Any way I have some skills that might help this effort. I am a co owner and worker of a advertizing agency. Our services include, graphical design, Printable broschyr etc design/lay out, Homesites, cd-rom production and marketing services. We planned and carried out our own www.speedparty.com event just last summer. It was more succesfull than we anticipated.

I also work as an freelance columnist/reporter for one finnish carmagazine. www.Spinnerilehti.fi

I have a bba degree and I have studied product design for 2 years(I have taken 2 years free from studies)

So if I can help some way please let me know.

Hi Mike,

I am keen to help with the club in some way which will promote, bring recognition to, and liven up the global classic zed car scene.

I have business experience through having worked in a large family business for some time (growing and marketing fresh hydroponic produce for several national supermarket chains). During that period, I have also developed and implemented a QA system (WVQMS and SQF2000 Quality Assurance systems) for the company.

Currently I am undertaking an undergraduate Commerce/Science double degree at the University of Western Australia.

Most importantly, I have a passion for the S30 series cars!!!

Cuong Nguyen.

I'm a Software Engineer (errr, well I would be if i could get a job. Perths job market is pertty bad for inexperianced IT professionals at the moment). I have a BSc in Software engineering and did alot of Multimedia stuff at uni also.

So if I can help out in any way, or if anyone in Perth know where i can get a job, let me know.

Mr C
