This one looks quick but it seems to have an identity crisis. It's both a FairladyZ and a 240Z...

Look again. The emblems say 'Fairlady 240Z'.

Correct factory badging for L24-engined Fairlady 240Z, Fairlady 240Z-L or Fairlady 240ZG.

Amelia Island Sports Car Digest - The Sports, Racing and Vintage Car Journal Now, I'm a lttle confused. Is this the car EFR campaigned (unsuccessfully) in 1975 / 1976 against Frisselle? Pictures of the car in the artilce say it's a 1970?

Here is a note from the current caretaker of the car. When I get the full history I will post it on my IMSA website and in this thread too.

"The BSR Sam Posey car is the replacement car for the original Bob Sharp IMSA GTU championship car that was totaled by Bob in early 1976. The Camel GT car was built by BSR under contract from RJ Reynolds Co.. The Camel GT car was converted to look like the Posey car. I restored the Camel GT car to proper livery for Adam (Carolla) about two years ago. I currently take care of the Posey car and it is in race ready condition. I will put something together for you to post with input from the current owner of the Posey car Allan Robbins."post-1154-14150823317054_thumb.jpg
