ta240 Posted May 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2009 I talked myself out of spending the money right now and it is a longer distance to drive to look at than I'd want to do: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1178628668.html I can't say if it is a good find or not but I did get some more pictures emailed to me from the owner: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/31945-saw-this-280z-on-craigslist/ Share on other sites
DatsunZsRule Posted May 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2009 If it's as decent as it looks in the photos, then thats not a bad price for it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/31945-saw-this-280z-on-craigslist/#findComment-284485 Share on other sites
lonetreesteve Posted May 23, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 23, 2009 I think that the $3,800.00 asking price is an outstanding deal for such a clean and original California 280Z with only 88k miles. If this was a 240Z, it would probably sell at auction for more than double the asking amount. If kept in good condition, this car will certainly appreciate in value and the buyer will have a lot of fun driving it. Carl Beck Posted May 23, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 23, 2009 I completely agree with Steve. This 280Z is worth twice the asking price - as it sits. If it were anywhere close to me, I'd grab it in a heartbeat....FWIW,Carl B. ta240 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) I was surprised that it hadn't sold yet myself. I haven't seen an overall cleaner one on Craigslist that I can remember. The engine and interior look very well cared for.I'd been thinking it would be nice to get a 280 with AC to drive in the hotter summer months but now just isn't the time to be adding another car. And the fact I live 45 miles North doesn't hurt either. To get Ruby back on the road the way I want it, "Running that is", is going cost at least another 7 stacks. Sheesh...., pricey :tapemouth ~Z~ Edited May 23, 2009 by WingZr0 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/31945-saw-this-280z-on-craigslist/#findComment-284542 Share on other sites
