sblake01 Posted June 3, 2009 Share #13 Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) I think Carl was talking about Scarab's pics. Jared yours look just like the ones I bought about a year ago, maybe a litlle longer. Do the shims come in that kit? Edited June 3, 2009 by sblake01 Scarab155 types faster than me! DatsunZsRule Posted June 3, 2009 Author Share #15 Posted June 3, 2009 Hopefully my orig. 32 yr. old calipers are still OK. They seem to work fine when I hit the brakes. I don't know I have to look at them. Carl Beck Posted June 3, 2009 Share #16 Posted June 3, 2009 Huh? Nissan doesn't sell calipers for s30's anymore??! Currently I have some reman calipers on my Z and they SUCK. The pistons have no plating which is why I get 2-3 years out of a set. I was hoping to buy some real calipers from nissan. Jim Maybe we should see if this is another part available in Canada.. If not perhaps we can still order just the pistons and seals etc Third alternative is to get the piston spec.'s and order new pistons from another OEM source... Just a thought.. Carl B. FWIW, Carl B. sblake01 Posted June 3, 2009 Share #17 Posted June 3, 2009 Nope, My error in my 1st post. Just looked when i took the photos and no shims in that kit.I thought the shims were seperate. Might even have a set or two extra somewhere in the garage. I bought all that stuff including the calipers about a year or so ago so the guy who bought my car has basically new brakes with about 850 miles on them.
