Well well well now look who is the proud new owner of a 1970 240Z:laugh::laugh:. I paid $1800 for it.

1970 240Z

4 Speed manual

Mileage: 78K

Interior: Black in decent condition

SU Carbs

Headers and Twice Pipe

Snyder Cams

RUST:

Surface Rust on Frame Rails

Rust on Front Fenders

Rust on Rear Fenders

Battery Tray has some rust

OTHER REPAIRS:

Rear passenger brake slave cylinder needs new O-rings

Windshield and Weather stripping needs to be replaced.

Nice . Wipe your lense , I thought I lost a contact lense.....:)

Looks like he was using a digital camera with the flash turned off. I have that problem a lot with the small digital cameras, they just don't have enough light gathering capability.

I'm very happy with the buy. I just ordered "How to Restore Your Datsun Z-Car - by Wick Humble" on amazon.

Any other good books on Z's you guys could recommend?

"How To Restore Your Datsun Z-Car" is a good start. The Haynes manual for the 240Z is also a good book to have near by as you start your project. Keep us updated!
