Jeff G 78 Posted August 3, 2009 Share #13 Posted August 3, 2009 I'd look for a good used OEM pump. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/32579-sometimes-yes-sometimes-no/?page=2#findComment-291013 Share on other sites

Jeff G 78 Posted August 3, 2009 Share #15 Posted August 3, 2009 They are quiet and last a long time if not destroyed by tank debris. I was just reading about issues with aftermarket pumps made in china and sold under the MSD name. You are better off with a quality OEM pump than a new Chinese aftermarket POS. sliprenoodle Posted August 3, 2009 Author Share #19 Posted August 3, 2009 can't find any fuel pumps on that site. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/32579-sometimes-yes-sometimes-no/?page=2#findComment-291040 Share on other sites
MikeyZee Posted August 3, 2009 Share #20 Posted August 3, 2009 Give Les a call. He does everything for Z cars. I did get the seal from him. I actually got my pump from an old 280zx that was undergoing a V-8 swap. The OEM pumps are expensive though...but are quiet..... TomoHawk Posted August 3, 2009 Share #21 Posted August 3, 2009 You might want to look through www.rockauto.com . They have a really good supply of OE comparable stuff for Z cars, like OE type parts, not the AutoZone or K-Mart brands. Jeff G 78 Posted August 4, 2009 Share #24 Posted August 4, 2009 There should be TONS of them out there. Post a WTB ad on all the Z sites or simply look through the classifieds for parts cars.
