as the proud owner of a '72 240z and a previous owner of a '79 280zx, I'd like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. Datsun Z's have run in my family for generations. My grandpa owned one, my dad owned one and now me. My 240 is my daily driver and my hobby. In my spare time from school I have been restoring my completely stock, numbers matching 240 back to her former glory and despite a few minor set backs I am close to completion. In addition to that I am always looking for a 1972 or earlier Z in ANY condition to build into a full-race beast. I joined here to connect with other like-minded individuals as well as share all my experience, successes, failures, frustrations, and knowledge I've acquired both first hand and from my dad and his father before. I look forward to talking with all the members and sharing, as well as tapping into the wealth of knowledge in this community with all z enthusiasts.

Yo Evan!

I'm the Grandpa now, but the lucky one~ 3 of the grands are down btwn Phila and Harrisburg, and the other grandson is up above Bangor, ME. So I get to keep the cars to myself for a few more years, without having to loan them out!

Used to be in every Z Club I could find back in the 70's, but due to attrition they all disbanded. But 2 months ago two local Z owners dug us and our cars outa mothballs, so now we're back on the trail again.

Been in Z's virtually since the beginning and was w/Bob Sharp for 2 years, but frankly I've forgotten more than I ever knew! But if any of it comes back, I'll be glad to share it w/you. Check into the CT Z Car Club website (CTZCC), we have some guys who are geniuses on those cars!

All Z Best,.............Kathy & Rick

It's great to meet you. I'm thoroughly enjoying tapping into the wealth of knowledge on here. Im a second generation Z owner, both my grandparents and father owned Z's. My grandparents the '79 280zx which was my first and my dad who worked at a Nissan dealer ship back in the day and owned 2 240z's. The name might through you off but I'm actually a 21 year old college student with a deep affection for vintage cars, more specifically, the Z's.

thanks!

Welcome aboard! Just a heads up, for high performance or race track Z information, you may want to visit HybridZ website......this is their main focus as opposed to here. Here you'll find folks more inclined to maintain stock Zs. Great folks here and at HybridZ. Remember, search the archives......most likely you will find answers to your questions.
