I had my 72 240z repainted last year and had to make all of the lights work again. Recently, the stop lights stopped working. If I put 12v to the brake light switch, the tail lights do not light. I have the wiring diagram but ran out of ideas of how to trace the problem, any ideas?

follow the brake wire to the Turn signal switch. Use an ohms meter to find out which one it is. The brake wire goes thru the Turn signal switch because the switch cancels the brake light that goes thru the blinker. If the wire is off or disconnected, the brakes won't work.
