I've never seen it done and I've been around Datsuns for almost 40 years....there must be a reason. I've seen triple SUs but never triple downdrafts. Even with the twin 32/36s, (and 4bbls) I've only seen a small number of them run 'right'. I'm guessing it could be done; virtually anything can if you want. The only question would be why? There are enough available setups that are known to work. Why take on something that looks to be such a nightmare? As far as a 'conversion' goes, you'd need a manifold, linkage and, of course, another carb. I wouldn't really refer to that as a conversion. It would be more of a fabrication.
