Hi I'm a new member on this site. I'm 38 years, living in Denmark and works as a toolmaker. I've always liked the 240 Z, but being brought up in a Honda dealership, they were an absolute no-no. I hope to learn more about these cars, models - year etc. during the winter, and hopefully buy one next spring/summer.

Thanks

zdk.

Here is a direct link to the ad Datsun 260Z 2+2 i just noticed it is a 2+2, don't know if you fancy that, price is 22.000 DNK ($4.000), the car is located in Lystrup.

When you are living in Als, i asume that Copenhagen is a bit to far for you, if not, you are welcome to come by and have a look and feel how it is to ride a Z :classic:.

Chris

Hi Chris

I have seen the car in DBA, but I don't fancy the 2+2 that much. I'm in no hurry and the plan was to learn more about these cars during the winter. My favorite is the early 240Z, think it's -70 to -74. It's a bit far from Als to Copenhagen, but thanks - it's a good offer, and perhaps I'll knock on your door some day. I've seen a yellow 240Z a couple of times here on Als, perhaps it's local.

Henrik

Mike, it all depends on what one is use to and not use to, this is a small contry.

Henrik, i'm not that much in to 2+2 either, so i know how you feel, if you decide to come knocking, just PM me, but bare in mind that the season is soon to end, the car is grounded from november 15th and until spring, it's an vintage inssurance thing.

Chris

Hi MikeW - you're right it's a small country, but due to bad weather and dropping temperatures, I think it would be best to wait till spring arrives. I'm in no hurry and have to sell my current car first. Fine route you've calculated but I live in the other end of Denmark (south) only 40 km from the German border. 2 places in Denmark called Als, 1 is a town, the other is an island - I live on the island, near Sønderborg. Distance thou must be about the same.

Henrik

Sorry, I guess "location is Als" was ambiguous. You're right, it's still a long way and requires a ferry. How often do they run? If you're interested, here are the walking directions. Since that route also requires a ferry I think that would be cheating. "Use caution – This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths."
