heat shield for triple Webers

I took my think aluminum heat shield and bought some adhesive thermal tape sold in the V8 Mr. Gasket section of your local auto parts store. They make out to be header wrap. I put that on the bottom of my heat shield in many layers. Carbs seem very happy.
