forsaken37660 Posted October 28, 2002 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2002 Hey peeps I found a 1970 240 sitting behind this guys house. He is going to sell it to me for about 1500 bucks the car has no rust except for a little on the surface the inside is almost perfect. It does have a chevy small block installed in it. All the parts are there to make it a complete car again. Question...Is this a good find? From just looking at the car yesterday, the body is in good shape with no dents or bondo. I am sort of new at this game, but I do know enough that whatever the car this seems like a good deal to me. AxtellZ Posted October 28, 2002 Share #3 Posted October 28, 2002 I'd say it could be easily worth $1500, providing it is not a frankenstein-disaster-project. Can you post pics to give folks a better idea? Did you inquire about the swap and history? Check for rust in framerails, floors, under battery?Try searching posts on the site about your concerns, alot of this has been addressed before.Good luck, Jeremiah Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/3395-found-something/#findComment-17741 Share on other sites

CoastGuardZ Posted November 4, 2002 Share #5 Posted November 4, 2002 BondoBondo is a two part body filler. Kind of like mud. Mix it with hardner and you can smooth over dents. Take note, not meant to fill in the dents.Nate Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/3395-found-something/#findComment-18234 Share on other sites
